During the filming of Goblet of Fire new director Mike Newell had no idea Alan Rickman was wearing dark colored contact lenses for the role of Snape until one day Newell was complimenting the amazing shade of his eyes, without a word Alan Rickman simply pulled out one of his contact lenses and showed it to Mike Newell

Snape-ish/Rickman-ish thought for the day
Geraldine Somerville, who plays Harry Potter’s mom, had the pleasure/great good fortune to be held by Alan Rickman for hours — probably for at least two days — when they shot the scene of Snape holding Lily. Not. Counting. Rehearsals.
(That is my new happy place) ;-)
